Our Church offers a complete program for todays Family

Most people are interested in knowing what a church has to offer. We are proud to be a "family-oriented" church. Our ministries are geared to reach the entire family and promote "family togetherness." Here are a few of the ministries available to you and your family:

Sunday School

Capable and qualified teachers and assistants staff our classes. We have graded classes from Cradle Roll through Senior Adults. You will be challenged by caring people in our classes.

Worship Services

Our strong point of emphasis in our church is the preaching ministry. Each service on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night is directed toward the preaching of God's Word. We believe you and your family will be strengthened by the pulpit ministry of our church.

Children's Ministry

We have two Children's Churches on Sunday morning. One for primary ages 2-6, and one for Junior ages 7-12. The services are conducted on a child's level with Bible stories, object lessons, music, and a host of other things exciting to children.

Music Ministry

Our music ministry centers basically around our Adult Choir. Annually, special programs such as a Christmas Cantata, Easter Cantata, Patriotic Program, and others are done by our Adult Choir. If you are a musician or are musically inclined, there are ample opportunities for you to be involved in our special music. The choir has their practice each Wednesday evening at 7 P.M.

Teen Ministry

This is our weekly Youth group program meets each Wednesday night at 6:45.  A Leadership meeting for teens is held each Sunday night at 6 P.M. The fourth Sunday night worship service of each month is conducted by the youth of the church. ( Look under the Youth Ministry page for Activities and events. or email crrains@yahoo.com

Wednesday Night

The prayer meeting convenes in the church auditorium for a Bible study and concludes with a time of prayer.

 

An exciting and structured Wednesday night program for children ages 2-12 called Kids in Action. These Pre-Teeners enjoy interesting Bible lessons, games, Bible memorization, and songs. The kids love it!

Outreach Visitation

We have various opportunities to be involved in enlisting others for Christ and His Church. Each fourth Tuesday evening of the month we have an Adult Visitation where we invite the total to visit. We also have Van Visitation each Saturday morning. We encourage all our Sunday School classes to have an outreach person to visit or contact their absentees. Our teens weekly visit our nieghborhood with an invition to our church and with an acknowledgement we are here to help them. We are glad to have folks join us either of these times.

Van Ministry

For many years, the Farmington Free Will Baptist Church has had a ministry of transporting boys and girls, as well as adults, and bring them to church. This is a very special ministry to us, and one we are proud to be involved in.

Senior Adult Ministry

We have a very active Senior Adult ministry. These folks meet together regularly for meals, fellowship and devotional time. There are also special activities and trips planned throughout the year.

 

Women Active for Christ

 

Our church has an active ministry for the women of all ages of the church and meeting monthly in various homes of its membership with a focus on missions
